Domino’s, the nation’s best loved pizza, surprised customers with a special pair of visitors in its East Durham store last week, and dough-nated over 40 handmade pizzas to local offices and volunteers.
Sunderland A.F.C players, Max Power and Will Grigg visited the Durham East store on Wednesday 26 February to become pizza chefs for the day. The pair are huge fans of Domino’s, so the store team were only too happy to coach the players on their pizza-making skills.
Max and Will spent the day, learning how to hand-stretch the dough and top the pizzas to perfection. Customers were invited to collect their orders instore to score a free pizza made by the duo. Over 40 pizzas were donated to local offices and volunteers.
Nick Sharma, Store Manager at Durham East Domino’s said: “Max and Will were on the ball with their pizza-making skills. We were delighted to have the pair in-store who had our customers dribbling over their freshly made pizzas.”
