DOMINO’S OPENS NEW SUPPLY CHAIN CENTRE IN AVONMOUTH

4 June 2026

Domino’s Pizza Group (“Domino’s” or “DPG”) has officially opened its fifth Supply Chain Centre (SCC5) in Avonmouth near Bristol, a strategic investment designed to ensure the Group has the capacity required to support long-term growth.

The new site increases capacity and flexibility across the network, supporting an additional 1,000 deliveries per week to stores across the South West and Wales each week. Without this additional headroom, Domino’s existing distribution network would have reached capacity within the next two years. Once fully optimised, the new centre will have the capacity to support up to 600 stores and enhance the company’s supply chain network resilience, providing greater operational flexibility and helping ensure continued supply across the business.

Domino’s has invested around £25m in SCC5 to unlock this additional capacity. The site will transition to next-generation automation in early 2027, introducing advanced handling systems that increase accuracy, efficiency and consistency across the network. These technologies will help drive further efficiency in loading and unloading boxes, supporting Domino’s focus on operational excellence as a core driver of growth.

Peter Trundley, Chief Supply Chain Officer at Domino’s Pizza Group, said: “SCC5 is an important investment in our infrastructure, giving us capacity, efficiency, and the resilience we need to support our growing business. It adds meaningful headroom as we continue to expand, while automation will help us operate more efficiently and maintain the consistently high service levels our franchise partners rely on. By strengthening the flexibility of our network, SCC5 ensures we are well positioned to support long-term growth and continue delivering for customers across the UK and Ireland.”

Domino’s supply chain consistently delivers industry-leading service levels that help its franchise partners remain competitive. The Group has invested in its supply chain for more than 40 years, and it consistently achieves 99.95% delivery accuracy and 99.99%+ availability of its ingredients. SCC5 builds on that track record and is a key enabler of Domino’s strategy to grow the core business across the UK and Ireland.
