DOMINO’S LAUNCHES NEW STORE FORMAT: BITE-SIZED POD CONCEPT SERVING UP BIG GROWTH

London, 3 November, 2025 - Domino’s Pizza Group (“Domino’s” or “DPG”) today opens its first Pod store in Wellington, Somerset, marking the launch of a new store format designed to unlock growth opportunities in roadside and travel-hub locations.  

The Pod is a compact, flexible store model that brings Domino’s closer to customers in a convenient, space-efficient way. At around 720 square feet, the pod store format is smaller than a traditional Domino’s store but will still deliver the same piping hot, delicious pizzas – proof that great taste doesn’t need extra inches. The store offers both collection and delivery, allowing it to serve both the local community via delivery and those passing through on a pit stop.

The Pod model plays an important role in Domino’s long-term growth strategy, supporting its ambition to reach 2,000 stores across the UK and Ireland. By combining flexibility with efficiency, it enables the business to expand into previously untapped locations and strengthen its national footprint, all while maintaining the quality and service that customers expect.

Domino’s is rolling out its new Pod format across the Southwest on sites owned by Motor Fuel Group (MFG), the UK’s largest independent forecourt operator, as part of plans to scale the concept nationwide. The Wellington store is also the first in the region to feature CHICK ’N’ DIP, Domino’s bold new chicken range, illustrating how fresh formats and new menu concepts are combining to fuel growth and bring even more excitement to customers.
