DOMINO’S INTRODUCES ‘ALL STARS’ AWARDS

- Everyday heroes to be recognised alongside celebrities for their services to humankind -

Domino’s Ireland, the nation’s beloved pizza, has today announced the new Domino’s All Stars Awards - a cheeky twist on the famed annual Gaelic football gong - each exclusive medal grants its lucky recipient to a year’s free supply of pizza.

The Pepperoni Passion inspired trophy will see members of the public being rewarded alongside celebrities in recognition of their won-dough-ful services to sport, entertainment and humankind, making Domino’s the Official Food of Everyday Heroes.

The pizza maker has teamed up with the esteemed sculptor and creator of both the GAA: All Stars and IFTA Awards, Jarlath Daly to specially design the exclusive medal, which will only be bestowed upon a very limited number of people per year.

A number of high-profile candidates from the worlds of sport and entertainment are being considered for the prestigious accolade to be announced later in the year. Additionally, the public can nominate anyone who they feel deserves to be rewarded for achieving great things simply by telling their stories via Domino’s Ireland Facebook page.

Simon Wallis, Chief Operating Officer at Domino’s said:

We wanted to make Domino’s the Official Food of Everyday Heroes, by rewarding those who go ‘above and beyond’ – specifically within the fields of sport, entertainment and humankind as a whole. So what better way to do this than by launching the Domino’s All Stars Award. We are really excited about presenting the first medals later this year, both to faces we know, and to some lesser-known people who are equally deserving of being recognised.”

Domino’s is encouraging fans to nominate people who have realised their potential in sport, entertainment or humankind by visiting the Domino’s Ireland Facebook page to nominate them to win FREE PIZZA FOR A YEAR!
