DOMINO’S TO CELEBRATE CHARITY DONATION AT NEW BENFLEET STORE OPENING
- Franchisee of new Domino’s store raises £7,000 for Teenage Cancer Trust –
Domino’s Pizza Group will celebrate the Benfleet store opening on Saturday with a community event and a £7,000 donation to Teenage Cancer Trust.
Benfleet locals are invited to come along to the brand new store on the 10th October from 12pm – 2pm to help commemorate the opening. For early birds, there will be free pizza for the first 200 customers, goodie bags and pizza making workshops. The event will include a cheque handover ceremony at 1pm, where Franchisee, Nij Madlani, will present Teenage Cancer Trust representatives with a £7,000 donation.
The money has been raised as the result of an online charity deal in eight of Nij Madlani’s other stores: Hadleigh, Kings Hill, Eltham, Mottingham, Woolwich, Rayleigh, Barming and Maidstone Central.
Nij, Franchisee of the new Domino’s Pizza store, said; “I am thrilled to open the doors of our Benfleet store and I hope our friends and neighbours will pop down on Saturday for a slice of pizza and to say hello. I am honoured that representatives from Teenage Cancer Trust can join us and I would like to say a huge thank you to our customers for their donations and making such a difference to the lives of those young people affected by the illness.”
The donation comes as part of Domino’s commitment to raise £1 million for teenagers with cancer over the next two years, working in partnership with its charity partner, Teenage Cancer Trust.
As well as championing Teenage Cancer Trust, Domino’s is proud of its support for local economies and UK high streets, with every new store opening creating up to 30 new jobs.
