SCOTLAND'S LARGEST DINE-IN DOMINO'S STORE ARRIVES IN KILMARNOCK
- New Titchfield Street store to serve up 30 new jobs -
Friday, 6th November 2015 sees leading local business couple, Lisa and Graeme Tobias open Scotland’s largest dine-in Domino’s Pizza store on Titchfield Street, Kilmarnock - bringing with it over 30 new jobs to the local area.
The store will seat 25 customers in a bright and colourful dine-in area, which will offer the full Domino’s menu, as well as offering take-away and delivery. So, whether it’s a Pepperoni Passion or Veggie Supreme, customers no longer have to wait until they get home to enjoy piping hot pizza. And, late night pizza will be on the menu every night with the store staying open for delivery only from 11pm until 2.00am.
To mark the occasion, store owners Lisa and Graeme Tobias – who opened their first store on Glasgow Road 11 years ago at the ages of just 23 and 24 - are inviting Kilmarnock residents to join them for an opening weekend packed full of entertainment, face painting and fire acts. There will also be exciting opening offers, including free pizza for the first 100 customers.*
Lisa said: “We’re so lucky to have found such a great location and premises, right in the heart of the community. This is a really special opening for us, as the Titchfield Street store marks our 10th store across Scotland and Northern Ireland. We can’t wait to see what the customers think.”
“We’re looking to recruit from within the local area and want to deliver more than just great pizza to the community. Many of our team members move on to management positions in under two years. I started working at Domino’s part time to fund my university studies and was promoted to Store Manager when I was just 19, so if you want it – it’s not just a job, it’s a career.”
The opening of the Titchfield Street store will see Domino’s delivery area increase to cover for the first time pizza fans who live in Galston, Dundonald and Symington as well as cover all KA1 & KA2 postcode areas. What’s more, the franchisees Graeme and Lisa Tobias have confirmed that they are still in the application process for a late license, meaning that they’ll be able to deliver to the whole of the Kilmarnock area late night, including Glasgow Road’s KA3 postcode customers, until 2am, 7 days a week.
Domino’s supports Teenage Cancer Trust on a local and national level. Over the next two years the company aims to raise £1million for the charity through employee and customer fundraising and raise awareness of the valuable work they do.
