– Domino’s celebrates 25 years in Ireland and its Citywest launch with giant pizza and party giveaway –
– Domi-Choir sings Happy birthday on location at Ireland’s newest store –
Domino’s, the nation’s favourite pizza will celebrate 25 years in Ireland and the opening of its Citywest store by paying homage to the land of music and laughter, by inviting customers to sing for free pizza and giving away 25 birthday parties.
The first 25 people to sing happy birthday to Domino’s in Citywest and every store across Ireland this Monday, 13th November will be rewarded with a freshly handmade Domino’s medium Hamrock pizza. A special six-person-strong “Domi-Choir”, made up of members of the famous Dublin Gospel Choir, will also sing a medley of birthday melodies at Domino’s newest store in Citywest, Dublin, to inspire the public to do the same.
Ireland is famous for being home to some of the best voices worldwide such as Bono, Niall Horan, Enya and even Jedward. Domino’s stores across the country hope the lure of its handmade pizza will help to uncover even more talent and urge undiscovered Irish stars to share their birthday songs with the world through their own social channels.
Domino’s will also reward 25 people celebrating their 25th birthdays between 13 and 26 November by providing a pizza party to the value of €250. People can nominate themselves or their friends via the Domino’s Facebook page with the reason why they deserve to win the pizza party. The 25 winners will each need to provide proof of age before they can claim their prize.
In the last year alone, Domino’s 48 Irish stores have fulfilled 3,563,911 orders, which equates to each store fulfilling on average 74.248 orders per year.
The most popular Domino’s in Ireland is the Cheese and Tomato, with 385,494 pizza orders made in the past year. Pepperoni Passion comes close behind, racking up 287,332 orders in the same period.
Peter Foley, Country Manager Ireland for Domino’s comments:
“We’re delighted to be celebrating our 25-year anniversary in Ireland and the newest store opening in Citywest. Giving our loyal customers the chance to showcase their voices in exchange for freshly handmade pizza feels like the perfect way to mark this major milestone. We often hear our Irish fans in full voice after watching the football, or a big concert, so we have no doubt we’ll be giving away lots of Domino’s! This is our way of thanking our customers for their continued support, and we look forward to delivering more pizza and creating more jobs over the next 25 years.”
