ITV can today announce that Domino’s, the UK’s favourite pizza brand, is to sponsor The Voice UK, when it moves to its new home on ITV in January 2017.
Domino’s will be using this sponsorship to demonstrate its position as the number one take away on a Saturday night. Event TV is a primary passion point for Domino’s customers and partnering with The Voice allows the brand to help make that Saturday night occasion even better.
Authentic vocal talent is central to the format of The Voice and Domino's is using this partnership to demonstrate the authenticity of its product and ingredients.
The sponsorship package, brokered by Arena Media, includes exclusivity on the show’s TV idents, brand exposure on the ITV Hub as well as being the headline sponsor of the mobile companion app.
The bespoke animated TV idents created by Iris illustrate that Domino’s pizza sounds as good as it tastes, with each of Domino’s ingredients corresponding with a specific sound which come together to culminate in a premium, fresh and mouth-watering composition to encourage repeat viewing and link back to the show.
The Voice’s appearance on ITV in January will be the first time the show has been on commercial TV in this country, and will be presented by Emma Willis. Global music stars Sir Tom Jones, Jennifer Hudson and Gavin Rossdale will join seasoned, superstar coach will.i.am and the winner of the competition will scoop a life-changing recording contract with music giants Polydor Records, home to global music stars Take That and Ellie Goulding, as well as the UK’s biggest breakthrough artists, including The 1975 and Years & Years.
Gary Knight, Commercial Content Director, ITV said:
“The launch of The Voice UK on ITV brings a brand new commercial opportunity to British television and I’m delighted to welcome Domino’s as the show sponsor. The Voice heralds the start of the biggest entertainment shows on ITV across 2017 and sets us up for the start of a fantastic year.”
