- 17 stores across the North East recruiting for 160 new staff members -
Domino’s Pizza UK stores in the North East is recruiting for a total of 160 new employees in 17 locations, spanning County Durham, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Teesside, North Yorkshire and Tyne and Wear. Jobs available include passionate pizza makers, trusty delivery drivers as well as store managers.
Mike Racz, franchise owner for Domino’s Pizza in the North East, said: “Our team members tell us that Domino’s is a genuinely fun and varied place to work. It’s a fast-paced, full-time career choice or a brilliant part-time job to fit around a busy schedule. Students in particular love working for our stores as they can still go to their lectures in the day and work their shifts around their free time. The 50% discount definitely makes our staff popular amongst their friends and family!”
“We pride ourselves on recognising raw talent and always push individuals through the ranks. We hire people who we know will deliver outstanding customer service - and a passion for pizza also goes a long way. We’re looking for friendly individuals with a positive attitude - the rest we can teach.”
Iain Heron, North East Area Manager, joined in May 2013 as a delivery driver. As a result of his enthusiasm and dedication, he was promoted to Store Manager in Stockton-on-Tees within a year and then to Area Manager in December 2014. “There are genuinely no barriers here and my rise within the company is just one of many success stories. There aren’t many places that would offer opportunities to grow like this. If you work hard, you go far - it’s as simple as that.”
Domino’s provides full training for all employees throughout their career and holds in-house workshops to support progression, ranging from dough management for pizza makers through to road safety for pizza delivery experts. If you’re eager to learn, there’s a huge opportunity for jobseekers in the North East to progress within Domino’s and be promoted to managerial level within two years.
Domino’s is also an Age Positive Employer Champion, which means that it has been recognised for its commitment to welcoming applicants of all ages.
