Pennies

We believe we should use our platform to support people who are in need of help. And we know our customers like to get involved and do their bit for good causes too. That’s why in 2010, Domino's became the first brand in the UK to launch a partnership with Pennies, and a few years later we launched with Pennies in the Republic of Ireland too. Together we’ve made donating to charity simple – just round up the cost of your order to the nearest pound and we’ll donate the extra.

Because pennies add up

Beyond supporting our national partnerships (find out more about them here), Pennies helps us increase the scale of our support for charities working on the ground in the communities we serve. Pennies is an award-winning charity with an important mission: to protect and grow digital micro-donations - ensuring the public has ways to keep donating the small amounts of money that are so vital for charitable causes.

Pennies enables customers using our website and app to round up their orders to the nearest pound. 92.5% of the money raised goes to our nominated regional charity partners, and 7.5% helps Pennies to develop and realise the full potential of micro-donations for the UK charity sector.

Since our partnership began in 2010, Domino's customers have donated through Pennies more than 46 million times, raising over £8.8 million for charity.

Did you know? If you were to lay out those pennies side-by-side, they'd stretch the equivalent length of over 52.6 million large Domino's pizzas—now that’s a huge slice of generosity we can all be proud of!

It's amazing what a few pennies can add up to!

We are so proud to have partnered with Domino’s for 13 years and counting. As pioneers in the micro-donation movement, and the first ever merchant to partner with Pennies, Domino’s have now raised more than £8million for charity from more than 39 million individual donations.

About Pennies

The mission of Pennies is to protect and grow micro-donations – ensuring the public has digital ways to keep donating the small amounts of money that are so vital for charitable causes.

Donating a few pence to charity when paying by card or mobile wallet is as simple as a single press of a button or click of a mouse. The option to give appears automatically in the card payment process: on the card terminal in-store, or at the checkout online or in-app.

Hundreds of thousands of customers are making their digital pennies count for charity every single week, helping increase the impact charities can have in the communities they serve.

Since 2010, millions of people have adopted the micro-donation movement, making more than 175,000,000 micro-donations and enabling Pennies to raise over £42,000,000 for 800 charities and counting in the UK, Republic of Ireland and beyond.
