Teenage Cancer Trust

Teenage Cancer Trust  has been our charity partner in England, Scotland and Wales since the summer of 2015, with an initial goal of raising £1 million over a two year period.

The charity exists to make sure the seven young people diagnosed with cancer every day, do not face it alone.

At the end of 2016, we had already raised approximately £1.3 million, which equates to 45,000 hours of expert care from a specialist nurse for a young person with cancer.  The overwhelming engagement of our customers, franchisees, store teams and colleagues meant we hit – and exceeded – our two year target after just 14 months.

Domino’s team members and franchisees have taken part in various fundraising challenges and customer-facing activities, as well as providing pizza for young people being treated in specialist units run by the NHS, in partnership with Teenage Cancer Trust.

Right now, for each young person Teenage Cancer Trust reaches, there’s another they can’t. Teenage Cancer Trust is expanding its team of expert nurses to work in local hospitals and patients’ homes, so young people receive the expert treatment they need, no matter where they live.

Teenage Cancer Trust needs to raise £20 million a year by 2020 to make this happen. We are proud to be part of the journey and have now committed to raising £2 million to support their 2020 goal.
