Our Food

Nobody delivers like Domino’s – especially when it comes to our mouth-watering food. We take pride in the quality and consistency of everything we make, which is why we only use the freshest, highest-quality ingredients.

We also work hard to offer a wide-range of choice, so there’s something on the menu for everyone – including those who don’t eat meat and those with food allergies – and we’re constantly innovating and testing new products to keep our menus as fresh and exciting as our ingredients.

Allergens and Nutrition

We believe food allergies shouldn’t get in the way of enjoying great tasting food. To help you make the right choices for you, we clearly detail allergens across all our products and make sure our nutritional and ingredient information is easily accessible for all.

Balanced Eating

We believe the food industry has an important role to play in helping people to follow a balanced diet. That’s why we make sure every Domino’s pizza is made using fresh dough, 100% mozzarella and vine ripened tomatoes. But we also want our customers to be in charge. They’re able to choose their favourite (and remove their least favourite!) toppings, the crust, the type of cheese and most importantly, the number of slices they eat.

We generally recommend a personal sized pizza for one person, a small sized pizza for 1-2 people, a medium pizza for 2-3 people, and a large sized pizza for 3-4 people. We work hard to be transparent about the calorie and nutritional content of our food, giving customers information and choice to make informed decisions.

Working With Other Brands

At Domino's we are also delighted to work with other well-known brands to provide customers with new products.

These brands have their own policies to ensure that they provide safe and ethical foods (for example, on sourcing and animal welfare) and are therefore not part of our on-going supplier assurance programme. Please visit the website or our Branded Products page to understand their approach to food provenance.

Animal Welfare

Animal welfare is important to us and to our customers. Our Animal Welfare Policy sets out the standards we expect of our suppliers and the processes we have in place to put these into practice.

We work closely with our suppliers to make sure animals are able to exhibit normal behaviour patterns, are properly supervised during transport, and are handled by trained stockman, slaughterhouse workers and hauliers. All animals are stunned prior to slaughter.

We demand suppliers comply with all EU, local and UK animal welfare legislation, but we also expect them to go further than just complying with legal requirements and commit to further improvements.

Each supplier is audited to guarantee compliance with our minimum standards, and we agree specific targets and timelines for enhancements. We have a supplier code of practice and responsible sourcing policy, which includes updated requirements for our suppliers for food and non-food related items.

We continue to take steps to improve standards and are committed to providing more information, so our stakeholders are aware of the measures we are taking in this key area.
