DOMINO’S SWINDON STORES DOUGH-NATE £4000 TO TEENAGE CANCER TRUST FROM CHRISTMAS DAY TRADING

Team members from Swindon Domino’s stores stayed open on Christmas Day and for the fourth consecutive year, donated all profits from the day to their long-standing national charity partner Teenage Cancer Trust.

The Domino’s Swindon Old Town and Swindon West stores opened from 10am to 3am on Christmas Day and raised a phenomenal £4000. This money will help support the 28 Teenage Cancer Trust specialist units across the UK, including its nearest to the stores in Bristol.

Domino’s supports Teenage Cancer Trust on a local and national level and with the help of customers, has recently raised £6 million for the charity. As well as funding specialist nurses and hospital units within the NHS to provide the very best clinical care, Teenage Cancer Trust does everything they can to make sure cancer doesn’t stop young people living their lives, during treatment and beyond.

The Swindon team didn’t stop there, they also delivered over 40 freshly made pizzas to the Swindon Homeless Charity and to the dedicated frontline healthcare staff at the Great Western Hospital.

The team spirit during these shifts is incredible I want to thank everyone who worked and all our customers, who hopefully enjoyed some fresh, piping hot pizza on Christmas Day”.

Everything we provide to get young people with cancer through the toughest times imaginable – our specialist hospital units, nurses and youth teams – are entirely dependent on the money we’re able to fundraise. So, to put it simply, without the support of Domino’s and our other fundraisers, nothing we do would be possible.”
