DOMINO’S SPONSORS THE TEENAGE CANCER TRUST’S ULTIMATE BACKSTAGE EXPERIENCE

GIVING YOUNG PEOPLE WITH CANCER THE CHANCE TO FEEL LIKE A ROCKSTAR!

20 March 2023: Domino’s is excited to announce that it is sponsoring the Teenage Cancer Trust’s Ultimate Backstage Experience at the charity’s annual set of gigs at the Royal Albert Hall.

Each year, the Teenage Cancer Trust hosts a series of concerts with some of the biggest names in music and comedy to help raise money for young people battling cancer. Starting on 20th March, an array of top performers will take to the stage including Kasabian, comedian Alan Carr, Jake Bugg and Wet Leg, to name just a few.

Domino’s sponsorship of the Ultimate Backstage Experience will enable over 100 young people with cancer to make special memories backstage too.

Every night, a group of young people who have recently finished cancer treatment will get to experience the VIP treatment, including a music workshop and private tour, kindly donated by Royal Albert Hall. They’re also treated to a dinner backstage before taking their places in some of the best seats in the house to watch the concert in style.

As well as soaking up the backstage vibes, the Experience is a great chance for young people to meet others their age who understand what it’s like to go through cancer. The experience helps build their confidence after treatment, make new friends, and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Domino’s ambition is to deliver a better future through food people love. As a long standing partner of Teenage Cancer Trust, Domino’s has already raised over £6.5 million for the charity since 2015 through donations from customers via Pennies, colleague fundraising, and franchise partners offering charity meal deals. This fundraising activity has supported over 200,000 hours of specialist nursing care for incredible young people battling cancer.

Kelly Scott, Head of Youth Engagement from the Teenage Cancer Trust said: “I want to say an enormous thank you to our amazing partners Domino’s Pizza who have kindly sponsored this year’s Ultimate Backstage Experience and helped ensure we can deliver this incredible experience to young people from across the UK.”

Clive West, Head of Charity Partnerships at Domino’s, said: “While pizza brings people together, we know it can’t fix everything for young people with cancer. But sharing a unique experience with someone you love and creating memories with new friends can play a small part in making a big difference. That’s why we’re especially proud to sponsor this year’s Ultimate Backstage Experience - bringing young people together for a day they won’t forget.”
