Attracting and retaining talent

We’re committed to attracting and retaining the very best talent, by increasing investment in our in-house recruitment function. Having a more hands on approach allows us to ensure colleagues have a positive and authentic interaction with Domino’s from the very start. 

Great people know other great people. In 2016, we launched a ‘Recommend a Friend’ scheme across our head office and supply chain. It makes good business sense for us to encourage colleagues to let us know about friends and family they believe would be a great fit for Domino’s.  

In 2017, we introduced a talent development role focused on learning and development across our head office and supply chain functions, underlining our commitment to finding, retaining and developing the very best talent.  

We’re also supporting our franchisees by creating tools to assist in the recruitment of drivers, in-store teams and store managers. We’re working on other exciting initiatives to help franchisees and their stores recruit to retain the best people.

Our Learning and Development team has developed an online system for store inductions and expert delivery driver training. This helps ensure our store teams have a great foundation, just like our pizza bases! 

Other learning and development initiatives include an “Area Manager Programme”, which is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Management, and a “Rising Stars programme” to help our franchisees develop their next generation of store and area managers.
