TOWN MAYOR OPENS NEW DOMINO’S PIZZA IN COLWYN BAY

NEW STORE CREATES 21 JOBS FOR LOCAL PEOPLE

The Mayor of Colwyn Bay, Councillor Val Smith J.P, officially opened the new Domino’s Pizza store located on Station Road on Saturday 19th July. The new pizza delivery store has created 21 jobs for local people and has provided a welcome lift for employment in the area.

As part of the celebrations, Domino’s held a pizza making workshop and face painting for families, from this the store raised over £300 which will be donated to Ty Gobaith Children's Hospice. The store also gave the first 200 customers that arrived at the store a FREE small pizza.

Councillor Val Smith J.P, Town Mayor of Colwyn Bay, said: “It was great to see the Domino’s team hard at work preparing fresh pizzas from scratch, which I’m sure the residents of Colwyn Bay and the surrounding areas will thoroughly enjoy. I am delighted to officially open this new Domino’s store, which has provided a boost for the Bay of Colwyn and the surrounding areas by creating more than 20 local jobs.

Talib Al-Kadhimi, franchisee of the Domino’s Pizza store, said: “It was a real privilege to have the Mayor officially open our new store and we’re looking forward to serving homes in the area with our delicious freshly made piping hot pizza.”
